all presented with their (probably original) blue glass liners, the first by Robert Hennell I, London 1794, of plain oval form with reeded rim and base, the part marked, flat topped and hinged cover with simple oval thumbpiece, simple reeded handle, 3.4ozt weighable silver; the second by Thomas Shepherd, London 1789, again of oval form with pierced and bright cut decorated sides, the part marked, domed and hinged cover with bright cut decoration topped with a ball finial, simple handle, 3.2ozt weighable silver; the third, a drum mustard, maker's mark (AL) not traced, London 1769, with symmetrically pierced sides, the part marked, flat topped and hinged cover with simple pierced thumbpiece, simple scroll handle and solid base, 2.6ozt weighable silver (3)
