A Chinese porcelain large hexagonal panelled vase, probably Qing Dynasty, Guangxu Period, circa 1875-1908, carved in relief with bats, Shou characters, and peonies mainly in blue and red 59cm high A similar, smaller vase to the present lot is in the Royal Collection (RCIN 41571)For an illustration, see John Ayers, Chinese and Japanese Work of Art in the Collection of Her Majesty The Queen, Volume II, cat. no. 1223, page 466 (ill. Col) Overall in very good condition.One small glaze blister on one painted lotus head.Internally with "firing cracks" where the piece has been luted together.
