A Chinese huali wood and brass mounted cosmetic box, Qing Dynasty, late 19th century,

the hinged lid revealing a tilt mirror, two outward hinged boxes and four interior drawers, key pattern plinth
19.5 x 23.5 x 31.5cm



Lid with rear replaced hinge, (leaving scar of orginal), front left hinged box with one hinge unhinged. Slight fading to the top surface and some slight water spotting. Some opening up of joints at the angles. Lid with small fingernail sized bruise (possibly a restoartion?)
