A Chinese export Cantonese porcelain large punch bowl, Qing Dynasty, 19th century,

painted with panels of Manchu court figures and foliage inhabited by birds, gilded details
26 x 60cm



Provenance:
Tusmore House, Bicester, Oxfordshire and thence by family descent



Large crack (old poor repair) from rim to footrim and slightly extending in to the base. Appro 7 inches from this crack there is another repaied crack which goes form the rim and six inches down the side. Small chip to rim whch has been repaired. Slight disoclouration in places and pitting to the interior also adbraded to the centre with possible limescale abrasion
