Description

A Chinese bronze Lion and Grapevine mirror, probably Tang Dynasty,

with outer border of birds and insects divided by a ridge enclosing six lions amongst scrolling vine stems, central lion boss, 14cm diameter: and a 'Rui Shou' type bronze mirror, probably early Tang Dynasty, cast with five ferocious antelope like beasts amongst leafy vines, enclosed by an inscription band, outward sloping rim, 13.7cm diameter

Lion mirror: slightly warped out of shape. casting faults on the reverse. Dents

Rui: Areas of green encrustation. silvered on the face
