A Chinese blue and white ginger jar, Qing Dynasty, Kangxi (1662-1722),

painted with a scene from Romance of The Western Chamber (Xixing ji), of 12 dignitaries and attendants in a pavilion setting, artemisia leaf mark, later associated wood cover, 21cm high

at least 5 hairline cracks in the rim. Some glaze rubbing and burst glaze bubbles/pimples etc
