Description

A Chinese, 18th century export tea pot, circa 1780, decorated with interiors family scenes, birds, and blossoms, 16cm high



The lid has a repair to the finial on the lid with discoloured brown glue marks, also wear and roughness to this. Slight chipping to the hole in the lid on botht he exterior and interior. Chip tp the rim of the lid measuring 2cm. Fading to the gilt and decoration with re-painting in some areas - see images. Chipping to the spout and some slight staining in brown. Chipping and flaking to the glaze on the handle in multiple areas with some fracture lines.
