With the Cheltenham Festival behind us and the Craven meeting at Newmarket just around the corner, we thought we would let you know about our Equine and Sporting online sale concluding on 12th May.
This will be our first online-only auction and will include hundreds of sporting paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures and trophies mainly worth between £100 - £500.
Based on a private collection of Munnings signed prints from a home in Ayrshire, the sale also includes prints by some of the biggest names in sporting art including Cecil Aldin, Lionel Edwards and Peter Biegel. Sporting art featuring horseracing, hunting, fishing and shooting continues to be a popular genre with collectors and this online sale will offer an opportunity to buy good quality works at affordable prices.
Entries close on 19th April and we would love to hear from you if you have any sporting art you might like to consign to the sale. We will be hosting a viewing by appointment of the artwork on offer ahead of the sale.
