We are looking for a full-time Residential Sales Progressor with a genuine passion for property. This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced, ambitious, and supportive team based in our Saffron Walden office.

We've been in business in Cambridgeshire for over 200 years. We are a privately owned, independent partnership and make buying, selling and taking professional advice easy, enjoyable and rewarding.

Founded in Saffron Walden in 1825, we have grown to operate six offices across the region, providing expert advice on property, land, farms, fine art, tractors, and steam engines, alongside hosting regular auctions across these divisions.


What will you be doing?

You will have a key role in the team and be responsible for ensuring the sale of the homes we sell progress in a timely manner. You will be passionate about providing a high level of customer care to our clients and ensuring they are always kept up to date with regards to the sale of their home, helping to assist with any issues that arise.

Main purpose/scope of the role:

  • Work closely with vendors, buyers and solicitors to ensure sales progress as quickly as possible

  • Maintain regular contact with the client, always providing a welcoming and high level of customer care

  • Tracking and managing the sales progression pipeline

  • Regular report progress to the Sales Manager

  • Managing all necessary paperwork to ensure the Firm remains compliant at all times

Working hours: full-time Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.


What will it take to be successful?

  • Previous experience in a sales progressor role within an estate agency environment

  • Welcoming and passionate about providing a high level of customer care to our clients

  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written

  • Self-motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team

  • Enjoy a varied, busy and rewarding role, with the ability to organise workload to meet multiple deadlines

  • Good IT skills and enthusiasm for embracing ever changing and advancing technology

  • Ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships with team members

  • Working knowledge of Alto would be desirable
