Whittlesford is a village about seven miles south of Cambridge whose biggest draw, and the reason behind most searches for property for sale here, is its station. Whittlesford Parkway sits on the mainline with fast trains into Cambridge and direct services to London Liverpool Street. The M11 and A505 are also close by. It is a settled village near Duxford and Sawston, with homes ranging from period cottages and houses, to family housing on the more recent parts of the village.
Duxford sits just to the south, home to the famous air museum, and Sawston is the larger village next door with more amenities. Cambridge is a quick train or drive north, with the most homes to choose from, while the market town of Saffron Walden offers more period character a little way south.
