The woodland is situated approximately ¾ of a mile south of the popular village of Wethersfield and approximately 5 miles north of Braintree, in the county of Essex. Directions From Wethersfield village, head south on the B1053 Braintree road towards Braintree. After approximately ¾ of a mile, the woodland is on the left hand side to the rear of a row of red brick cottages called Sandhill Cottages and close to the junction with Gosfield Road. The entranceway in to the land is between Fir Cottage and Sandhill Cottages, with parking for 2 vehicles available to the rear.
