Sutton, known historically as Sutton-in-the-Isle, is a sizeable village on the fen ridge west of Ely. Buyers searching for property for sale in Sutton get a proper village with shops and schools rather than a small hamlet. Its landmark is St Andrew's Church, whose distinctive octagonal lantern tower stands out for miles across the flat fen.
