Andy joined Cheffins Planning Department in October 2026 having spent over 12 years working at the Abbey Group in which time he successfully delivered projects totalling over 1,000 new dwellings. He has a track record in delivering over 700 Megawatts of energy related projects (including wind, solar and battery schemes) across the United Kingdom. He has also delivered mixed use schemes including road-side and retail uses.
Andy has over 25 years of experience working within the planning system spread across local authority, consultancy and client-side roles. He works across all sectors and has experience of delivering complex planning permissions (including EIA development).
