A bumper entry of over 2,500 lots at Cheffins October Cambridge Machinery Sale at Sutton produced a record sale with over £4.5m grossed to date. A monumental effort from the team pre-sale saw one of the strongest entries which included 530 tractors, 250 lots of wheeled and tracked plant, as well as over 1,800 lots of agricultural machinery, construction equipment and spares. Increased attendance, record levels of online bidders and a strong foreign interest – perhaps intensified by looming Brexit deadline at the end of month - made for one of the most successful auctions in recent months.
