Cheffins hosted a timed online sale of second-hand machinery on behalf of W R Chapman & Son from 2nd – 10th December 2020.
Prices achieved include £55,500 for a 2012 Claas Xerion 5000 tractor, £53,500, £52,000, and £49,250 for three 2017 Valtra T234 Valtra tractors respectively and £35,750 for a 2015 Dezeure Mulittrans D20 trailer. Another Dezeure Multitrans D20 trailer achieved £35,000 and £31,000 was paid for a 2012 Volvo excavator.

“The Chapman sale saw a good, wide-ranging lot inventory, with some unusual kit on offer such as the Dezeure multitrans D20 overload trailers. The sale saw a strong mix of agricultural machinery, plant and ancillaries. As uncertainty around Brexit and farm subsidies continues, we expect that both domestic and overseas buyers will continue to look to auctions to pick up good quality second-hand items. The auction calendar is busy for next year with on-site sales planned throughout the UK.”
