Ian Kitson, Director at Cheffins, comments: “We saw a busy auction room with good levels of interest across the varied lots. The auction room continues to attract an array of buyers, from those seeking a project for themselves, to development companies pursuing an investment opportunity.  An increasing number of bidders are enjoying the ease of the online bidding system, which has made buying at auction even more convenient.

“The £3.5 million total was very pleasing, with a good spread of interest across the catalogue, and for all types of property.  It was a really encouraging sale when considered against a backdrop of the recently announced election, which can sometimes lead to uncertainty.”
