Cheffins has been appointed to host a multi-site timed online machinery sale on behalf of Strutt & Parker Farms as the business reinvests in its machinery fleet.
With over 75 high value lots set to go under the hammer, the sale will take place online from 1st – 9th December with machinery from multiple locations across Hampshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Highlights from the sale include two Claas 8900 combines from 2023 and 2022; a 2025 JCB Fastrac 4220; a 2025 John Deere 9700 forage harvester and a 2025 JCB 542-100 telescopic loader.
Aaron Kew, Commercial Director at Strutt & Parker Farms, said:
“We’re partway through a planned programme of reinvestment in our machinery fleet. As new equipment arrives, a number of well-maintained machines are now surplus to our requirements. Cheffins’ timed online sales give us a simple, effective way to bring them to market and re-invest the capital back into the business.”
“Every machine has worked within a professional arable operation where regular servicing is part of everyday farming. We’re confident they’ll attract strong interest from farmers and contractors looking for quality kit.”
Oliver Godfrey, Head of Machinery at Cheffins commented:
“Strutt & Parker Farms is an impressive operation, and this sale will give buyers the opportunity to purchase high-quality machinery that has been maintained to an exacting standard. We are pleased to support the business as it invests in new machinery by selling items that are now surplus to requirements. Cheffins has a long and successful track record of supporting large-scale contractors and farming businesses with their machinery renewals, and these sales provide an excellent opportunity for other farmers and contractors to invest in reliable, well-maintained equipment with confidence.”
“At a time when much of the farming industry is facing significant challenges and uncertainty, it is encouraging to see a business continuing to invest in its operation and plan for the future. Strutt & Parker Farms’ approach is a positive example of the confidence and ambition that still exists within the sector, and a reminder that there are opportunities for businesses willing to invest in the next chapter of British agriculture.”
