Katie Hilton, Director in the Cheffins Rural Professionals department, has achieved Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) registration with the Society of the Environment.

Achieving this award demonstrates that an individual has been judged by their peers to be working at the highest possible standards in the environmental profession and is increasingly seen as a desirable demonstration of an individual’s competence. Chartered Environmentalists must be able to demonstrate not only a high level of theoretical knowledge of their sector but also successful application of this knowledge. CEnv has been awarded to Katie on account of her extensive experience in delivering environmental advice to farmers and landowners across the Eastern region within her role as farm consultant.

Katie Hilton comments: “I am pleased to have received this recognition, and I hope it signals to our client base that we have the knowledge and expertise here at Cheffins to deliver quality advice. This expertise can be applied to several of our work areas including agri-environment schemes, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and LEAF Marque and other retailer schemes.”

Katie is also a Member of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants (MBIAC) and a Professional Member of the Institute of Agricultural Management (PMIAgrM).
