Cheffins’ annual Harrogate Vintage Auction will reach a significant milestone on Saturday 17th August 2019 when the 25th staging of the sale takes place at the Great Yorkshire Showground.

Some 100 vintage and classic tractors are entered in the sale, with makes such as David Brown, Ford, John Deere, Nuffield and International will all be represented amongst others.

Of particular note is a very well restored 1924 Fordson Model F and a run of County tractors which are particularly collectable, including a County Super 4 and an 1174 which was an ex-forestry tractor.

A superbly restored 1959 John Deere 730 is expected to attract good interest. Of a continental flavour is a French-built 1950 Vierzon tractor which is unusual in the UK.

There is a great selection of bygones and spares among the 900 lots in the sale, including an ex ‘Harrogate’ railway station enamel sign.

Bill King, chairman of Cheffins who will be auctioneering on the day, said: “We always look forward to our annual trip to Yorkshire for this Vintage auction and it has established itself as a significant sale in our calendar.

“Buyers from across the UK and Ireland will be present and there is always a great atmosphere at the sale.”
