The third and final round of the government's Countryside Productivity Small Grants (CPSG) scheme has now been launched with £25 million made available but applicants must be quick, with a deadline for submissions to the online portal of noon on 4th November 2020.

The CPSG can provide grant funding towards investment in certain types of equipment to improve productivity and efficiency for farming and horticultural businesses, for example, cattle and sheep handlying systems, direct drills, GPS equipment and cover crop rollers. Grant amounts are designed to cover 40 per cent of costs and can range from £3,000 up to a maximum of £12,000.
