As part of its 200th anniversary celebrations, Cheffins has strengthened its support for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust with the donation of 4,000 children’s activity sheets and 400 boxes of crayons to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Donna Lee-Willis, Head of Community Fundraising at ACT and Sarah Bush, Head of Residential at Cheffins

Delivered on 16th July, the activity packs are designed to provide a welcome distraction for young patients undergoing treatment at the hospital. This initiative is one of several charitable commitments Cheffins has made in 2025, including a £100,000 pledge to help fund a new playroom at the Cambridge Children’s Hospital, currently under construction.

Sarah Bush, Head of Residential at Cheffins, comments:

“We were delighted to donate these activity sheets and crayons, with the hope that they bring some comfort and creativity to children receiving treatment. Supporting the next generation and promoting mental wellbeing across the region is at the heart of our charitable mission this year. This donation is one small way we are giving back to the community during this milestone year for Cheffins.”

This contribution is part of Cheffins’ ongoing partnership with Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and its broader commitment to supporting families and young people across the region.
