Cheffins Saffron Walden was once again one of the primary sponsors of the annual Ashdon 10K/3K & Fun Run. The event, which took place on the first Bank Holiay in May, saw a record number of runners take part across all three races. The 10K secured 135 entrants, 75 runners took part in the 3K and the Fun Run saw over 130 race. An incredible £4,500 was raised for Ashdon Primary School PTA (reg charity 1028671). These funds will go towards the provision of a music teacher; the nativity classes; educational experience days and equipment for pupils.
