This engine is the fourteenth engine to come off the production line and spent its working life in Germany. Requiring some boiler work, it is an ideal restoration project for someone starting in the steam world.
It is said to be mechanically good with excellent gears. The boiler requires attention and the firebox is currently out of it. A new tender has been laser cut, drilled and folded ready to be assembled. It will be relatively simple to put back together as the crank and second shaft bearing carriers all bolt on.
This is potentially a very attractive and rare engine and a great opportunity for a new enthusiast at a sensible price.
