Guy Royle was born in Devon and was the assisitant to Breon O'Casey for 25 years. His jewellery inhabits a space between the definitions of Art and Craft; mingling influences from both. He uses the simplest of tools and methods and works mainly with sheet silver which is cut, bent, beaten and formed. This metal work compliments his use of natural pebbles and gemstones which are ground, shaped and drilled into beads.
