Near Mount Etna, inscribed 'Valone di Maletta on M.t AEtna (?...) 1805 in ascending AEtna' (lower centre) and further inscribed with topographical details on the reverse, watercolour on paper, 26 x 35cm;
A view of the caves at Latomie, inscribed 'part of the Latomia, Syracuse 31 Jan.y 1799 (?u)nd by Dionysiuis (ae?) prisons' (lower centre); 'Made from the Papyrus at/ Syracuse January 1799/ by Cap.n J Weir/ Papyrus of the/ River ana(pis?) at/ Syracuse' (on a papyrus label to the reverse), watercolour on two sheets of paper, 19 x 41cm;
