A large pair of Imari baluster vases, late 19th century,

ribbed with covers surmounted by shishi dogs

Chillesford Lodge, Suffolk



Approximately 47cm high without lids. Chipping to the mouths of both dogs and cracking and fractures to the dogs. Fading to the gilt and decorations throughout. Scratchings and marks to the exterior. Some pitting to the glaze and markings to the base, lids and rims.
