A Georgian gemstone brooch, together with a ring,
first, the oval shaped brooch set with a central foil backed oval faceted aquamarine, approximately 13.4 x 10.6mm, surrounded by alternate foil backed round faceted garnets and foil backed oval faceted citrines with cannetille detail, pin and hook fitting, dimensions 3.2 x 2.7cm, unmarked, tested as 18ct gold, with a later 9ct gold pin, weight 9.2g; second, the ring with a rubover set foil backed oval faceted garnet, approximately 4.9 x 3.5mm, pierced shoulders, size K, unmarked, tested as 15ct gold, weight 0.7g (2)
