Charity auction for Cambridge Roar raises £4000

Local charities benefit once again from the incredible succession of Cambridge Roar events

In its fourth year now, Cambridge Roar has raised over £85,000 since its inception in 2015.

On Wednesday 20th June another incredible fundraising auction saw over £4,000 raised for the three main charities: the East Anglia Air Ambulance, Arthur Rank Hospice and The Cambridge United Community Trust.

Cheffins Auctioneer, Luke Macdonald oversaw proceedings at the Quy Mill Hotel with lots offered including two Gold VIP tickets for the Duxford Flying Legends Air Show and a dinner for 8 cooked by the Quy Mill Chef.

The Cambridge Roar exists to support the work of incredible charities with events having taken place in May and June and running into July.
