circa 1940, graduated articulated body, each section with rings either side, possibly used to attach to a garment, oval belcher link chain running from the mouth to a bar with multiple grooves and a double pin clip fitting, overall length 15cm, width 4.5cm, unhallmarked, stamped 'STERLING' and signed 'NETTIE ROSENSTEIN', weight 60g

Nettie Rosenstein was an American fashion designer, based in New York, between circa 1913 and 1975. She was particularly renowned for her 'Little Black Dresses' and high quality costume jewellery, and her pieces are now extremely collectable.
