An 18th century Meissen mocha pot and cover, circa 1740, decorated in the Kakiemon style with the 'Schmetterling' pattern, with a double scroll handle and acanthus moulded spout, crossed swords mark in blue

The inventory of the Royal Saxon hunting castle, Hubertusburg, lists a large Meissen service "mit dem Papillon gemahlet, und mit ausgeschweifften Rande" (painted with a butterfly and with wavy rim)
