Description

A pottery figure of a horse, possibly Tang dynasty, well-modelled, the animal standing foursquare on a rectangular base, the head slightly lowered and turning to the left, open mouth, long combed mane falling thickly to one side of the neck, a saddle on his back, with tail docked and bound, with traces of red and black pigment, 34.5cm high

Faded color but retains color. Usual restorations expected on these kind of items , absence of a thermo luminescence test
