Description

A pair of George III silver salts by Peter and Ann Bateman, London 1792, navette shaped with reeded edge, raised on a pedestal foot similarly decorated, monogrammed and with colourless glass liners, 3.8ozt gross weighable (2) 6.50 x 10 x 6.50cm (3 x 4 x 3in)

Generally in good condition for their age with no obvious signs of repair. Very minor grizzling in two areas to one of the liners. Slight tilt to one of the salts from what appears to be pressure from the top with creasing to the interior base. Very minor asymmetry to both of the bases .
