Description

A group of five soldiers, Northern Qi period, three similarly dressed with the sleeves of their garments covering their joined hands and domed hats with flaps covering most of their heads, the other two with hands uncovered, with traces of polychrome decoration, 22.5cm to 26cm high Ex: Ming Gallery, Louisville, KY, USA
Other Notes: This figure is clad in the military uniform of the Xianbei people and other northern tribes from the Gobi desert area, with a covered "wind hat", trousers, short upper tunic and a cape tied around the neck, the outfit was designed to protect against the wind and dust.
Faded color but retains color. Usual restorations expected on these kind of items , absence of a thermo luminescence test
