Cheffins Acquires New Home for International Tech Giant Heraeus Noblelight

Heraeus Noblelight Ltd, one of the longest-established manufacturing businesses at Cambridge Science Park, has opened new office premises on the park thanks to some key market intelligence from Cheffins Commercial.

“Heraeus is expanding very fast and lacked enough space to meet its ambitious plans for the future. The management team came to us for advice as there seemed to be no space available on the Science Park to meet their needs. Using market intelligence and property networks, we were able to identify a 10,000 sq ft office building almost adjacent to their existing unit that was about to come to the market. Acting for Heraeus, we were then able to secure an off-market deal on Unit 163 – a building which was almost perfect for their needs,” explains Philip Woolner, Director of Cheffins Commercial.

“Heraeus Noblelight is now ready for its next phase of growth. We’re very pleased with the work that Cheffins has done to find and secure this space for us. We’ve brought production, research and management teams together here which will have long term benefits for team working, communication and creativity,” adds Debbie Playle, Managing Director of Heraeus Noblelight. Heraeus is the world leader in the development and manufacture of Flashlamp technology, which is used for Solid State Laser pumping and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light).
