Steam enthusiasts are well catered for with a fine and unusual Ruston 10/12hp stationary engine last steamed 10 years ago and dry stored since, a half sized Burrell Agricultural Engine built by George Marsh will attract great interest and is road registered, whilst fans of rail will have a super 7.25inch gauge 0-6-0 saddle tank engine to compete for.
The usual fine selection of vintage ploughs and implements is to be found in the yard whilst the building will contain over 300 lots to include rarities such as Penny Farthing bicycles, Velocipedes and Edwardian bicycles. Alongside these is a single owner collection of enamel signs which include some real rarities, a fine selection of cast iron implement seats, literature, models, steam and tractor spares, petrol pumps and petroliana etc.
A 1957 Land Rover Series 1 in full roadworthy condition is present as is a two wheeled offering in the form of a 1923 2.75hp Raleigh, the 350cc side valve is in great condition and a real collectors’ item.
