
Sporting treasures discovered by experts from Cheffins Auctioneers, whilst touring in Scotland at recent valuation days, will be included in the forthcoming Scottish Sporting Sale, 16th June 2007 at Perth Racecourse
Some of the highlights will include;
A.Roland Knight, ‘Salmon on the fly’, valued at £1,500-1,800, a fun salmon car mascot, estimate £50-100, as well as a wonderful selection of sporting guns including:
Boss & Co, A 12 bore single trigger self-opening sidelock ejector gun, £8,000-12,000, James Purdey & Sons, A 12 bore sidelock non-ejector gun, circa 1888, £6,000-10,000 and John Dickson, A 12 bore round action assisted opening ejector gun, £4,000-6,000.
Big Game trophy heads and an interesting collection of fishing tackle.
The Scottish Sporting Sale will be held on Saturday 16th June at Perth Racecourse, in aid of the Atlantic Salmon Trust & The Game Conservancy Trust.
