Signed cricket bat offered at Cheffins Sporting Sale


Cheffins will be auctioning a wonderful autographed Cradidge Super 'Imperial driver' cricket bat signed by the 1938 Australian side at the second test at Lords on 24th-28th June, including Don Bradman, at their Sporting Sale on Thursday 15th October.

The reverse is signed by Wally Hammond of the English side, the highest scorer of the first innings of 240 runs. The bat was given to the vendor, by Sir Pelham 'Plum' Warner in the Long Room at Lords, when he was a small boy watching the match at Lords with his father who was known to the players - Est: £400-600.
