QUAYSIDE GETS LATIN AMERICAN THEME

Acting for Magdalene College, Cheffins has let the former Henry’s bar and restaurant on Quayside to Las Iguanas, the Latin American restaurant group.

Occupying a prime site on the piazza beside the Scudamores punting station, it is possibly the best riverside trading position in Cambridge, said Simon Lewis, Director of Cheffins. It has an extensive riverside dining terrace and nearby is a number of national multiples including Prezzo (in the former Café Uno unit), Cote and Café Rouge.

Steven Morris, senior bursar at Magdalene College said: “Las Iguanas will bring a fresh and exciting new environment to Quayside which will have wide appeal, drawing in more visitors to this key location and boosting business for all the outlets operating there.”
