Highlights include a fine line-up of green machines with a leviathan of a 2008 John Deere 9630 at £107,000, a 2004 John Deere 7920 Autopower topped £39,800, a 2001 John Deere 6910S hit £19,000 and a gleaming 2007 John Deere 9880i STS combine knocked down for a healthy £94,000. The two lots which received arguably the most pre-sale interest were the two 2005 Housham AR3000 self-propelled sprayers and with much spirited bidding on the day two end users were the winners at £51,000 and £48,500 apiece. Finishing off this row was a 1997 JCB 530-70 Farm Special at £13,000, 1998 Holmer Terra-Dos 6row beet harvester at £16,500, a useful 1994 Shelbourne Reynolds Mentor swather took £9,800 and a smart 1988 Ford 8210 knocked down at £7,200.
The rows of well maintained cultivation equipment and trailers were hotly contested with a 2010 Simba Horsch Sprinter 8ST cracking £62,000, the ever popular 2008 Sumo Quatro 4 knocked down at £27,000 and a straight Kverneland RL100-R 9furrow wagon plough took £11,500. Orange gear was well received too, with a sharp 2002 Simba Culti-Press at £18,000, a 1998 Simba Versa Tilth hit £6,400 and a useful set of 1999 Simba Cambridge Rolls sold at £5,200. Trailers were as usual sought after with the 18tonne Salop’s selling well at £8,400, £7,400 and £7,200 respectfully. Baileys were not outdone with a brace of 1997 14tonne trailers selling at £6,000 and £5,800.
The trade for quality used agricultural machinery has remained buoyant post harvest, as it was earlier in the year and is echoed by the huge interest in high value machinery and with the continued rise in the price of new kit this trend is set to continue for our sales in 2012. Our sales calendar is filling up with a healthy run of spring sales to help satisfy the demand, so please keep an eye on our website for further details.

We received enormous pre-sale interest for the principal items and this generated a huge eager crowd on sale day, with the great and the good of Lincolnshire turning out as well as bids from the continent and further a field from our i-bidder online bidding service.Highlights include a fine line-up of green machines with a leviathan of a 2008 John Deere 9630 at £107,000, a 2004 John Deere 7920 Autopower topped £39,800, a 2001 John Deere 6910S hit £19,000 and a gleaming 2007 John Deere 9880i STS combine knocked down for a healthy £94,000.
