Heaving Harrogate

Our Harrogate Vintage Sale has received another bumper entry this year, with an excellent entry of vintage and classic tractors, implements and spares.

The sale will be held entirely undercover due to the superb facilities at the Great Yorkshire Showground on Saturday 21st August 2010. We have already chalked up over 100 tractors at the time of this article, with more expected by sale day. There will be something for everyone with some of the highlights being a Ford 5000 Super Major, 3000 Super Dexta, 3000 (3), 5000 (4), 7000 (2) and 675D digger loader. There is a good complement of the ever popular make David Brown, in the form of a VAK1A, 2D (2), 25, 880 (4), 885 (2), 990, 1200 and 1212, with some superbly restored.

A change of colour and there is some excellent Massey Ferguson’s entered with superb 135 on farm from new and fitted with a loader in excellent original condition showing just 3,918 hours. There will also be 35’s, 148, 165’s and even a Super 90. Other tractors a note include a Field Marshall S.II, Aveling & Barford PT4 road roller based on a Standard N, Case 1594, Fordson E27N P6, Roadless 4wd Super Major, John Deere B and G, JCB 3C, a delightful Hanomag R12, restored McCormick Farmall FCC Super, a rare Austin, Case 500, Massey Ferguson 595 V6 tractor puller and a super original International 454.

There will be over 500 lots of spares, implements and trailers to whet the appetite in the top shed. Catalogues will be available 2 weeks prior to the sale and on our website.
