EXPANDING FORENSIC SCIENTISTS ACQUIRE SCIENCE PARK BUILDING
A firm of forensic scientists has acquired a long leasehold interest in 120/126 Cambridge Science Park. Cheffins acted for Hawkins consulting forensic scientists and engineers who have been based on the Science Park since their formation in 1980 as a spin out from the University.
The firm’s managing director Dr Richard Fletcher said: “We have expanded both in Cambridge and by opening offices throughout the UK (now 8 in total). The Science Park has proved an ideal location for the company and Unit 120/126 offers scope for further expansion of our head office to accommodate more investigators, support staff and improved laboratory facilities. “
The building has 10,236 sq ft over two floors and has recently been comprehensively refurbished to create a modern flexible workspace.
