Cheffins to host Fine Art sale preview in aid of The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution

The preview will allow visitors to view some of the rare art, antiques and furniture which will be auctioned off in the Cheffins Fine Art Sale on 30th November and 1st December

The preview will feature a talk from one of Cheffins' fine art experts and a raffle with all proceeds being given directly to The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI).

Key items that will be on display during the course of the preview evening include a collection of paintings from Leonard Russell Squirrel, RWS, RE (British, 1893- 1979) which mainly depict pastoral scenes around Hythe, Kent and Caister Castle, Yarmouth. These will be available during the auction on 30th November and 1st December.

Jennifer Millard, Associate at Cheffins, comments: "As a RABI Cambridgeshire member, I am thrilled that Cheffins is supporting this hugely important charity. The Fine Art preview evenings are always popular and are a fantastic opportunity to show clients a different aspect of the Cheffins business that is run from our Clifton House premises in the heart of Cambridge. The two day sale features some rare items, many of which we hope will be of interest for RABI friends and associates."

Christine Bish, Chairman of the RABI Cambridgeshire Committee, says "We are extremely grateful to Cheffins for welcoming RABI supporters and guests to this Fine Art Sale preview evening. We are very much looking forward to seeing our regular supporters and to meeting new ones."

The preview evening will take place on Monday 28th November at 6.30 pm until 8.30pm at Clifton House, Cambridge, CB1 7EA. Tickets are £15 and are available from Christine Bish or Jennifer Millard
