Auction Trio!

They will take some beating and will help meet the ever increasing demand for quality second hand farm machinery. As well as the storming trade at our Cambridge Machinery Sales in the mix on 17th May and 12th June we also have a trio of onsite farm machinery auctions.

First up is a sale at Great Yeldham, Essex on Tuesday 18th May 2010, with a cracking selection of three Claas Lexion combines in the form of a 2005 580, 2004 540C and a 2002 460. There is also a 2007 John Deere 6930, 2001 Claas Challenger 55, 1997 John Deere 8200, 1997 John Deere 3050 and a tidy 1979 Massey Ferguson 565 MP. Also in the sale is a popular 1997 Househam Sprint 2000 self – propelled sprayer, 2006 Simba ST Solo 330, 2002 Simba X-Press and 2001 Simba Cultipress to name but a few of the machinery on offer. The sale has been well supported by local farmers and there is also a 2007 John Deere 7830, 1999 Bateman RB16, 1995 Massey Ferguson 6160, Ford 4000 (2), Massey Ferguson 50HX, 1991 John Deere 3050, 2006 Simba ST Solo 380, 2008 Foton Europard and even a 1972 Citroen DS Super!

Next sale up is at Godington, Nr Bicester, Oxfordshire on Wednesday 2nd June 2010, by direction of DJ Oakey & Son who is entering into a joint farming agreement and is selling off the surplus machinery. Top lots are a 2003 New Holland CX860 combine, 2008 Case Puma 195 and a 2001 New Holland TM165. There is also a good selection of machinery with a 2000 Simba Cultipress, 1995 Simba Pressrolls, 1990 Gregoire Besson RB47 plough, Bomford Super Trim 470 hedgecutter, 2007 Kuhn Primor 3560 and 1990 Simba 2B discs to name but a few. The sale has again been well supported by local farmers and highlights include 1987 Ford 6610, Kuhn Venta 4m drill, 1974 Sanderson SB55 forklift, Agri Hire Titan 16tonne trailer, Massey Ferguson 128 baler and AS Marston 14tonne trailer.

To complete the trio is an onsite auction near Ashdon, Essex were livestock farmers and butcher shop owners are having a change in farming policy and disposing of all the tractors, materials handler, machinery and livestock requisites. Quality lots include 2006 JCB 531 70 Agri Super materials handler, 2000 Case MX135 c/w Quicke Q970 loader, 1997 JCB 115S Fastrac, 1996 Massey Ferguson 6170 Dynashift, Keenan Klassik II diet feeder, 2008 Shelbourne Parmiter 6m grass rake (only 100acres covered) and three baulk trailers. As well as the machinery on offer is for sale by private treaty the contents of the meat processing building, to include c.70m twin track rail system with inline weigher, carcass hanging area, modular cold and freezer rooms, stainless steel washer, tables etc, also a large quantity of spares.
