Old Master Barn Discovery!

A very nice early drawing of 'Classical Figures with Stone Lions', pen & ink, 8 x 9cm from the circle of Perino del Vaga (Piero Buonaccorsi) (Italian, 1601-1547) has been discovered in a barn in Cambridgeshire by one of our experts during a house visit . The painting will be auctioned in Cheffins September 23rd/24th 2009 Fine Art Sale, with an estimate of £400-600, and will be sold to benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust.
