Location

Chipping (also known as New Chipping) is a small Hertfordshire village surrounded by open countryside. It lies on the old Roman road, Ermine Street (now the A10) between the market towns of Royston (5 miles) and Buntingford (3 miles).

Both towns offer excellent shopping facilities, schools and leisure facilities. They also have a number of traditional pubs and restaurants.

Situated on the A10 trunk road, Chipping is only a 30 mile drive to London. Stansted airport is easily reached, as are the M25 and A1(M) motorways with their links to the rest of the country.
