The park is also the start of the Haverhill Country Walks, a series of circular routes of up to 6.5 miles, east of Haverhill around the villages of Sturmer and Kedington.
Haverhill has excellent road links and is one of the most convenient towns for access to Cambridge (approximately 19 miles), London Stansted Airport (approximately 35 minutes drive) and the M11 corridor. There is a mainline rail station at Audley End (approximately 16 miles) direct into London Liverpool Street.
