Abbey New Homes is a subsidiary of Abbey plc whose principal activities are residential housing development in the UK, Ireland and the Czech Republic. For two generations, the sales sign in front of our Abbey New homes developments has become a familiar sight in the South East of England. With many thousands of homes and satisfied customers to our credit, we continue to offer 'Beautiful Homes, Attractively Priced'.

Abbey New Homes is pleased to welcome you to Barnaby Way, a pleasant new development of 1 & 2 bedroom apartments and 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses located in the popular and thriving market town of Haverhill. Haverhill is located in Suffolk and has been an established market town for 1,000 years. It has a long history of enterprise that has underpinned much of it's economic development. Haverhill's position in the heart of rural East Anglia has ensured the town’s growth and the handsome, former Corn Exchange, still standing in the town centre, bears witness to the profitability of this ongoing development. Continuing investment into the town provides it with growing residential, commercial and leisure facilities and makes it an ideal place to live.

Haverhill currently offers extensive shopping with the usual High Street shops and out of town shopping as well as a popular twice-weekly market. Confirmed future plans also include a multiplex cinema and yet further shopping facilities.

Other leisure facilities include public houses, restaurants, social clubs and hotels, a snooker hall and ten-pin-bowling clubs. There is also a well respected 18 hole golf course, a comprehensive nursery and schooling system, a well used sports centre with all-weather pitches, 2 swimming pools and fitness studio.

Haverhill enjoys a vibrant arts scene all year round and is home to one of Suffolk's largest and most successful arts festivals, held every June. The town council runs a lively and progressive arts programme at Haverhill Arts Centre, which has long acted as a showcase for up and coming creative talent, while providing a platform for the more prestigious names For nature lovers, East Town Park is situated nearby, which has approximately 50 acres of meadows and tree belts. It is open all year round and boasts a children's play area, a maze, a picnic area and an easy access trail suitable for wheelchairs, push-chairs and people with reduced mobility. The park is also the start of the Haverhill Country Walks, a series of circular routes of up to 6.5 miles, east of Haverhill around the villages of Sturmer and Kedington.

Haverhill has excellent road links and is one of the most convenient towns for access to Cambridge (approximately 19 miles), London Stansted Airport (approximately 35 minutes drive) and the M11 corridor. There is a mainline rail station at Audley End (approximately 16 miles) direct into London Liverpool Street.
