From humble beginnings dating back to the early 1940s, Cambridge Machinery Sales is now widely acclaimed as the largest machinery sale of its type in Europe and probably the world. The monthly sales typically attract approximately 3000 lots comprising 500 plus agricultural tractors, 450 lots of construction equipment and 2200 lots of farm, horticultural and grass keeping machinery.

Tractors and machinery offered for sale are consigned from private vendors, UK and overseas dealers, local authorities and national finance companies, who all appreciate the unique and professional service offered by one of the most experienced auction teams in the country. The sales are conducted at the purpose built 40 acre landscaped site at Sutton, near Ely in Cambridgeshire. The sale ground is strategically located to provide easy access to the key east coast ports for export to Europe and beyond

Since the first sale in March 2006, the Bristol Machinery Sale has firmly established itself as probably the second largest collective sale in the U.K after our Cambridge Machinery Sales.

With an average entry of 200 plus tractors and a wide variety of construction equipment, agricultural and horticultural machinery, the sale attracts international buyers from as far a field as Poland, South Africa and the U.S.A.
