A Professional Valuation of Antiques and Collectables

Our Valuation Department is able to provide confidential, written valuations for insurance, probate, taxation, family division and marketing purposes as well as organising appointments for more informal valuations for sale.
Valuations for Insurance, Inheritance Tax and Family Division
We provide written valuations on a fee-paying basis. Our firm is RICS accredited and our specialists deal with most areas of antiques, fine art and collectables including Paintings, Prints, Furniture and Rugs, Pottery and Porcelain, Clocks and Barometers, Silver, Jewellery, Books, Toys, Wine, Bygones and Sporting goods, Militaria and Stamps.
We would be pleased to provide details of our charges and make an appointment to value any special items that you wish to insure or have valued for other purposes. Our specialists are also always pleased to discuss the logistics of any valuation project in advance. The fees for written valuations are assessed according to individual instructions.

Valuations for Sale
We provide informal, verbal valuations for sale purposes free of charge. Our specialist valuers are available without appointment to offer valuations on Tuesdays between 11am and 3pm to advise on all of the above specialist areas. We would also be delighted to call on you at home by appointment to see larger objects or collections.
For further information or to arrange an appointment, please contact Clodagh Sapsford or Jenny Baggs.
