Commission and Telephone Bidding

If you are unable to come to the saleroom on the day of sale you are welcome to register for either a commission or a telephone bid up to 24 hours before the sale.

Commission Bidding works on the premise that the auction house will bid on your behalf up to wherever the bidding stops on an item or the maximum amount you are willing to pay. Register your commission bid either with us at the saleroom or via the catalogue online. All online bids will be acknowledged by email.

Telephone Bidding is ideal for those who wish to follow the bidding in the saleroom without being there themselves. One of our bidding clerks will ring you and take you through what is happening in the saleroom and invite you to bid at the appropriate time. We ask that people registering for telephone bids are willing to pay at least the top estimate of any given item.
